Sexy Favre

My 2nd masterpiece! This is No.2 in my Wisconsin Series. Now when I say masterpiece, I guess I’m saying that these are the ones I’m most proud of. Strangely enough, I didn’t get the greatest response from this one. And not just from the Flatlanders down here either. I took an old 90’s calendar, cut it and then traced it of course. I was deliberating on how to draw the flesh and face---trying to find flesh colored paints and markers, when I came up with the brilliant plan of just cutting out what I can’t draw and gluing it on. I’m still surprised at how well that worked. I actually had this conglomeration, the calendar page with the partial People cover taped on to it, in my work cube for several years. Luckily I was able to find it when I tore everything down and stashed it in my closet. Everything worked so great on this---from the white glitter on the pads and towel to the multi-colored sequins for the spectators. I also had a “Find the Cheese” contest. Yes, there is a cheese hidden in this one.
